XS was the name for an internal development platform. What shes holding in her hands is basically a Xios DS painted black. I'm using its case to keep my desk level. Its internals are being used to make an Android media system in my Van Cool

Why did they drop the black, looks a lot nicer then the white one?

The black was just screened on, as soon as you scratched it you saw white. It was prone to fingerprints. It would have delayed the time schedule, and driven up the cost (since we would have to inventory both black and white units)

I do like the black one....

I got some carbon fiber wrap vinyl ..... maybe I could wrap the top. Smile

The white one is nice too....

Some 3m DiNoc perhaps? The non 3M ebay stuff really is just awful. Apply some heat to the DiNoc and it will probably grab those corners pretty nicely.

Someone needs to make skins for these, I know there are some for ATV out there.

I know what you are talking about. But mostly it would be nice for some skins that way we don't need to wrap.

Is the green android a sticker or painted on? I really just want something minimalistic like the ATV without logos and green droids Smile

Alternative could be to build it inside an ATV even though it might be a challenge with the IR sensor and diode light.

The green is silkscreen/paint.
