[Released] PseudoTV Manager - an easier way to configure PseudoTV channels and more.
#61
Just a quick question I made a Homicide Lift on the Street channel which keeps play show s01e01 so when I exit and restart it restarts. I have it set to play the shows in order. I am using Pseudo TV Manager and I have the channel set to play in order and to pause when not watching.

What am I doing wrong? All I want is it to play 1,2,3,4 etc

Hello,

Include the rule to "force resume". You may also want to include the rule "only play unwatched episodes".

Mark,

Thank you very much for the help. Checking only play unwatched episodes seem to have fixed the issue. My life change Saturday night when I googled the name of this program to find out what it was. I thought it was a DirectTV add on before LOL

Amazing program. Thank you so much.

A bug:
  • adding multiple genres to an item doesn't work (though it lets you select a bunch)
Some usability requests for whenever you have the time:
  • channel names displayed along with the channel numbers in the TV Guide Tab
  • settings save automatically when you navigate to another page so that you don't have to hit save all the time
potential quick fix: a keyboard shortcut (e.g. Ctrl-S) to save
  • the box to select genres (under TV shows and Movies) displayed next to the box of currently assigned genres instead of in a separate window
  • the add channel field prepopulated with the next available channel number.

Thanks again!

A total noob to XBMC requests some help to get this fine add on working. Ive managed with my limited skills and the help of the website totalgeek to sync several xbmcs using Mysql. But for the life of me I am stuck at the very beginning of installing Pseudo Manager. I've added Pseudo and that s up and running in xbmc and I've located the settings2 file and imputed those details inside settings. But things start to get messy from here onwards.

I am using Mysql workbench with default port 3306 and root as user, But I cannot for the life of me locate my server address. What should I input in the request box there and what do I place inside the box requesting video database table name.

Also I am at a quandary as to what to do with the Mysql.data.dll file. Please could some advise me as to where this file should be placed .

Any help gratefully received from a frustrated noob

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging

For example:

</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer

Thanks so much for this addon. I am scrubbing my media as we speak so I can tweak the channels. This is really going to change the way my family uses XBMC. This is just what I wanted in the way of randomized content. Thank you!

Is there a way to schedule times within a certain channel. I want to recreate a toonami channel with the same 2 hour block that toonami had 4-6pm weekdays. How can i change the ordering so so a certain show starts off first. There doesnt seem to be a way to edit the order a show plays in the Shows/Movies section of the program

Not sure if this is the exact error I was also getting, but I went from version 1.02 to 1.01 and 1.01 works fine. 1.02 doesn't for me however.

Here is a link to version 1.01 that is working fine for me. http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid...pid1160141

Mine does not seem to support networks. For example, I have an animation channel that only plays shows that are tagged with "Animation", and that works just fine. But my "NBC", "ABC", "FOX", etc. channels are not set up. Any help with this? Is there something I can manually edit in the settings file?

Thanks!
