[Released] PseudoTV Manager - an easier way to configure PseudoTV channels and more.
#76
I am tryng to use this no idea why it is not working but, I get this when I launch sqlite error no such table: movie (PseudoTV Manager 1.02) I also get same error on 1.01 but says tvshow instead of Movies could this be because I am using Frodo rc3 and a new version of PseudoTV?

I should have looked up now I see it's not a .net issue Sad

As you can see, I was able to get this to run (sorta) on Linux, using WIne 1.3.(x?) and then had an exception error. Any chance you could look into making this work on Linux either by fixing the error or by porting to the Mono Runtime? There's even a tool to tell you if you're using anything not supported.

And I'd be willing to use WINE to run it too, it's just that making it Mono compatible would be easier and make your app accessible to many more people!

Just think about it, please?

Thanks!

is there any updates on this working on the latest Frodo and Psuedo TV?

Love this program but have one quick question. I have just started to get pseudo tv working properly going through organising my media etc. If I allow XBMC to run a libary scan at startup will it alter any of my network settings for pseudotv? For instance I have a bunch of disney animation films that are set into a "disney channel" I edited them using this program to only have the disney genre to ensure they do not pop up anywhere else. Is this genre setting stored in a separate pseudotv file or part of the movie nfo?

Does this still work for anyone with frodo? Related to the above comment, I would like to see this program change the genre in the tvshow.nfo. It appears to save any and all info strictly for pseudo. Or maybe an option to save it either way. I suppose it would be good to have it only effect pseudo. A working program would be cool to Smile

I'm using this with the latest version of frodo with no issues. It does only change the genre/studio etc for pseudo only but for my needs thats ideal as it leaves the actual media directories alone after I have sorted them to my needs.

I've tried with frodo without success. Getting those error messages too

I recently updated to Frodo and started using the lastest pseudotv stable build but have a problem.

Changes I make in pseudotv manager are not being reflected when I launch the pseudotv app in XBMC.

When trying to edit channels and settings with PseudoTV manager I cannot see shows that I've recently added to my XBMC library. I'm guessing that the settings2.xml file is moved with this release but cannot find it to point pseudotv manager at. Any input? Below are my settings that worked with the the pseudotv addon I downloaded straight from XBMC.

0 | C:\Users\----\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\userdata\Database\MyVideos60.db | C:\Users\----\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\userdata\addon_data\script.pseudotv\settings2.xml

In case you haven't solved this, or anyone else might end up here with the same issue, Try Changing the database to the newer version that is in the same folder. For example, there should be a "MyVideos75.db" file if you have upgraded to Frodo. Use this file instead of the "MyVideos60.db" file. The reason you are not seeing your recently added shows is because that database is no longer being written to. XBMC is now using "MyVideos75.db" for your library.

Does anone happen to know where to find the settings2.xml and myvideos60.db files on ATV (1st gen). I want to pull them over to my desktop so I can edit them but I can't seem to find them.

Thanks for this info. Seams to simple but I got it working after not being able to for a long time.

What am I doing wrong!? This is frustrating me....

I am getting the below error log. I know for a fact, my database is called xbmc_video75, because when I go to mysql workbench, this is where all the movies are listed.

Edit - figured it out, was typing .db and wasn't needed.

I don't see a "help" file.. Could you please explain what Interleaved Channels does and how to use it. Does it allow me to inter-mix multiple "shows" into one Channel?

Ron

Update. After some trial and error -- I was able to mix three TV Show channels (Family Guy, South Park and The Simpsons -- set to non playing) into one Cartoon Channel. To do this I set the Interleave Channels (min and max) to a value of 1.

I hope this helps others looking to combine a number of TV shows into one channel....

Hello all,

Suffering from the same error as the one listed here - The program seems to work until you point it to the correct locations in "settings", then i'll get an unhandled exception error. Strange, as i had it working perfectly last night with no issues at all, really. I've tried installing the standalone .net framework, and even a fresh windows install but to no avail. What's going wrong?

Thanks,

Georgyw5k.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

when I click Save in the Settings window. Any suggestions?
