Is there a way to get a command to scan for new content on 1 particular highlighted show without going to the context menu I. Have the key map I created and it has the update library command but I am wondering if anyone knows the command to just update a particular show

I did find a sort of solution where you can specify a path update the library however I seems like it would mean mapping a path for every show which for me is like 200 shows


Does anyone know what the command used is when you scan for new content from the context menu I could try using that and see if it would work

Looks like you can from the wiki http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=JSON-RPC_API/v4
but it would have to be embedded in a script, not for the faint hearted and would have to
be called on a variable for each episode in focus.

Only works when on 'in focus' items where you could normally choose "scan for new content" from the context menu.
