I added a Youtube RSS feed through the Add Source in XMBC's video section. Works great except that it seems to always play the videos at 240p. Is there a way to force it to 720p or 480p? (and yes I know about the youtube plugin but i'm trying to make custom rss feeds).

Had a quick look in the youtube plugin. I believe the quality has to be set on every individual video.
So for example you would have to add an argument like &hd=1 or &vq=hd1080 behind each video url (before play).
