Thank you for the great answers..

about the 24 p issue, its really sad that the sigma chips that are really cheap provide perfect 24p playback for many years now while giants like intel and amd cannot..

None of them (AMD, Nvidia, Intel) can do spot-on 23.976. It's a matter of which one gets closest... which i believe is AMD.

Cheers Wink

{EDIT] sorry, a little late to the game on this one... noticed after i posted that there was a page 2! Rolleyes

They are all about the same. And NVidia reportedly is the closest nowadays.

I, and many others, don't notice the issue at all (and I have looked for it using all 3 vendors on my 65" Panny plasma)

It offers what i need and i trust asrock...

[quote='solamnic' pid='1152849' dateline='1342889721']More questions coming..
A)Going for an i5 ( due to price ofc) .. Which i5 sandy is the coolest?
Since this "Intel Core i5-3450 Quad-Core Processor 3.1 GHz" is on sale, would as well go w/ the latest technology.....

(2012-07-21, 18:55)solamnic Wrote: B)by saying that 24p is not perfect you mean also by using an external gfx card?
I owns the GT430, HD6450, HD5570 and HD2000....I don't notice 24p issue on 56" HDTV....for HTPC, you don't need a discret GPU (un-less you are a gamer)...

>Alienware X51- do it all HTPC
>Simplify XBMC configurations
>HOW-TO Bitstreaming using XBMC
I refused to watch movie without bitstreaming HD audio!
