OK so I just started over, wiped out my machine and installed a fresh copy of XBMCFreak's realease of XBMCbuntu 12.04 with pre-Frodo (mid August release) on my Zotac Zbox HD!D34BR which has an Atom Ion in it which supposedly CANNOT bitstream DTSMA or DolbyTrueHD... but it IS. My receiver is detecting it and it is showing on the receiver's display. How is this even possible? the sound is not 100% as it cuts out every 20 or so seconds but it IS working. Go figure.

The Zotac ZBOX HD ID34BR is a next generation ION (also ION2) box. So it CAN bitstream HD Audio
Look at the specs of this box at the zotac homepage http://www.zotac.com/index.php?page=shop...mid=100170 Cheers |

This is awesome but like I said, the sound is dropping out every 20 or so seconds. Is this a common problem?

The devs may want logs and steps taken to reproduce the problems, or it may be a resolved issue. |
