Vista and Win 7 Gadgets for XBMC

It is possible to control XBMC using Windows Desktop Gadgets.

Launch Control is a Sidebar app launcher that allows you to add many more link icons, without taking up too much room on the Sidebar. This is done by allowing any number of groups to be created, and having a number of link icons within each group. These groups then open and close on mouseover, so that only one group is showing at any one time.

This is a modified version of Launch Control.

Below is a pic of my Launch Control for my home automation controller.

Instructions :
1. Download and Install the desktop gadget. http://www.filesend.net/download.php?f=4...037e048305
2. Edit the commands by holding down Ctrl key and then left clicking mouse button over an icon.
3. Fill in the details :

Name = Name of Command
Target = XBMC http command
Icon = Choose an icon.

For detailed instructions on how to use this Desktop Gadget click help then help file.

Desktop Gadget program is located in directory
C:\Users\your_username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets

Desktop Gadget settings are located in directory
C:\Users\your_username\AppData\Roaming\Windows SideBar\LaunchControl.gadget
