any way to use a logitech mouse receiver as a bluetooth receiver?

I got my hands on one of these:

and would like to use it as a standard bluetooth receiver.. but logitech don't have any drivers for it!

any suggestions?

Are you sure that is a bluetooth receiver? Looks like it might their standard 2.4ghz wireless receiver.

yea.. even if it was possible, it's not really worth the hassle.

Bluetooth receivers are almost free these days. I got 2 of them for free AR.

I know they are cheap... but the problem is that I don't know which ones are "good" .. for what I'm trying to do .. and I read somewhere that the logitech ones were working, so I bought the cheapest logitech mouse I could find to try it it out! Smile

that's how I ended up with that logitech nano thingy!

but I guess ill keep fiddeling with the tivo one, and see if I can make it not suck so hard .. lol

ps the short version of what I need it for, is to use it with my tivo slide remote, and eventghost.. since the one that comes with the tivo don't work when I first boot my machine .. I need to trigger a button on the remote, then reboot eventghost to make it work!
