I searched for a couple days and couldn't seem to find an answer, so sorry ahead of time if the answer was under my nose.
I have been trying to sync my libraries for a while now with no luck. Before I try again I would like clarification on something. I know both of my devices need to be running Eden (atv2 and an acer) which they are. However the atv2 system info states the following XBMC 11.0 git:20120331-ebfd899 (compiled : Apr 1 2012). My acer XBMC 11.0 Git:unknown (compiled :mar242012). The acer is running xbmcbuntu.
So is this my problem? Or possible problem.
If so, best way to approach having same system on bth devices.
Thanks
Library syncing and version number

The iOS version you are using was built later on, but both databases are compatible and come from the same Eden branch. The reason the iOS one is a bit later on is that it was a compatibility update with the only change being that it runs on ATV software 5.x.
Post a debug log from one of the two XBMC devices and we can see what's going on with your advancedsettings.xml file, which is normally were errors happen. You can make easy links to the XBMC wiki using double brackets around words: [[debug log]] = debug log, [[Add-on:YouTube]] = Add-on:YouTube, [[Adding videos to the library]] = Adding videos to the library, [[userdata]] = userdata, etc
