Only the VDR-VNSI and VDR-XVDR addons implement the channel scan functions in the pvr addon. However, I don't know if it actually works as I'm not a VDR user.
The TVHeadend, MediaPortal and ForTherecord addons don't support it directly from the XBMC GUI. Developer of the MediaPortal PVR addon and the Argus-TV PVR-addon. Unofficial XBMC Windows builds with PVR (Dharma, Eden and Frodo). http://www.scintilla.utwente.nl/~marcelg/xbmc |

Add vdr-vnsi:
In case you are not running vdr and xbmc on the same machine, you need to add the ip of your xbmc client to /etc/vdr/plugins/vnsi-server/allowed-hosts.conf, otherwhise connection will be refused Add xvdr: In case you are running xbmc eden you need to use the eden branch of xvdr: https://github.com/pipelka/xbmc-addon-xvdr/tree/eden regards, jobe

Did you install the vnsi server plugin? If so, what version from which source?
BTW: I doubt that channel scan would work with VNSI. I have never tried this. |
