Hi there, I’m new.
Seriously loving XBMC as a media player platform, and I’ve tried quite a few!
I’m currently running an ASROCK ION 330HT on Ubuntu 12:04 LTS. Everything works great, most of the time, but sometimes I get problems with buffering on very large files (10 – 30GB 1080P MKV’s).
Looking at the logfile, I’ll see the following message: “CDVDMessageQueue(video)::Get – asked for new data packet, with nothing available”
I think I’ve tracked it down to the network connection not running smoothly, often a few reboots will cure it temporarily.
I’m trying to find out exactly what the inbuilt wired network card is so I can update it, but my Google-Fu seems to be failing.
Has anyone offer any advice.
Thanks in advance.
