Hi

I connect my TV using HDMI cable and bitstream audio from my ATV1 to the logitech 5.1 speaker using TOSLINK/optical. However the TV will have some background noise if there is any DTS or dolby digital audio is played,and when I mute the TV, it will be gone and I will have pure crystal audio from the 5.1 speaker only.

Any ideas?

Known issue afaik. Turn down / mute the TV for a workaround.

Does it apply to all XBMC or certain platforms only

Till now i only knew it from atv2.
