[EXTENSION] XBMC Remote for Chrome
#1
Hey guys well before i go on about my extension i would like to say that this was not coded by me, most of the credit goes to https://github.com/jingleman/MediaRemote and https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detai...dgahnhnbpg

However i have changed it and made it have "manifest version 2" which is needed for newer versions of chrome.
it wasn't as simple as it seems

I also changed the GUI and made it look a bit more modern (atleast i think so.)

And optimized the code a little.

Im really not good at GFX though but i feel it looks better than the original (http://i.imgur.com/7XJvm.png), here is a screenshot

As you can see the remote is a pop out button up the top and the options are shown in the background.

It has all of the features the original did but with less buttons (most weren't needed) and a better GUI

Installation
Due to fee's i need to pay to host it on the Chrome Store i am just going to host the CRX file myself.
To install it all you would need to do is
  1. Download the ZIP from the link below and extract it.
  2. Go to "chrome://chrome/extensions/" in chrome ofcourse.
  3. Now enable Developer Mode.
  4. Finally just drag the CRX file in to the chrome window.

Very nice...

I may be able to help you with the graphics.... PM me and we can discuss.

Any chance you can port this to a Firefox Add-On as well? FF is what I use.

Thanks,

H.

Is this compatible with frodo v12?

Any idea of what changes would have to be made?
