hi there
i was wondering if a cpu with intel hd 2500 graphics will be good enough to properly play 1080p movies, will i be happy with such a chip or rather disappointed?

Intel HD1000 (SandyBridge Celeron/Pentium) and HD2000 (SandyBridge i3/i5) do a great job and so does HD2500.

Yes. I use a HD1000 and HD2000 each and every day.
