So I’ve just cleared out our workshop and found some scrapped Laptop's that people didn't want fixing and not picked the machine back up.
In there was a ViewSonic Dual Core Pentium, 2GB RAM, 250GB HD.
So i'm going to use this a my HTPC as the screen is mashed i first thought was just remove the screen and connect via VGA and a Audio cable (no HDMI on webbook and none free on TV)
But my plan is now to strip the laptop completely out of the case and make/buy then mod a small slim case you put the motherboard in and desolder the VGA/Audio ports and attach them to the case back. Also strip a AC Adaptor and fix that inside the case with 1-2 stealth fans
