Project Webbook to HTPC

So I’ve just cleared out our workshop and found some scrapped Laptop's that people didn't want fixing and not picked the machine back up.

In there was a ViewSonic Dual Core Pentium, 2GB RAM, 250GB HD.

So i'm going to use this a my HTPC as the screen is mashed i first thought was just remove the screen and connect via VGA and a Audio cable (no HDMI on webbook and none free on TV)

But my plan is now to strip the laptop completely out of the case and make/buy then mod a small slim case you put the motherboard in and desolder the VGA/Audio ports and attach them to the case back. Also strip a AC Adaptor and fix that inside the case with 1-2 stealth fans Smile

Will post pics as i go along.
