Would it be possible for XBMC to be able to read the offline cached files from spotify and ad that music to XBMC if you log in with you Spotify Premium account? Obviously this would need some kind of agreement with Spotify, but none the less it would be pretty awesome.
I know there's a user made app to acces spotify from XBMC, but it would be so much simpler to have it among Music ni XBMC.

Ask the addon's author to implement .strm files. That will add the music to your library.
Xbmc's approach to integration with 3rd party services is to let it be handled by addons. That avoids bloating the core with things not everyone needs or can use. |
