Hi I was wondering if these parts would be good enough to play 1080p video and maybe very minimal gaming?

Ram : 4gb laying around somewhere.

Ill figure out the ssd later but will these parts give me decent specs? Im new to this whole thing so any help would be greatly appreciated!
Emulate games sometimes. No intensive games.

EDIT: Decided to just go with the build stated in the "Your Very First HTPC" forum. Thanks for the help though.

The case takes mini-itx motherboards but you selected a micro-atx board.

How much ram do you have?
1080p will be no problem for your APU.
Gaming is a bit hard to say, do you mean with minimal gaming playing Pac-Man? As long as your system will have the minimum requirements for the game you should be able to play it, that doesn't mean that it will look good on your HD-TV.

Also check this thread out if you didn't already.

@Kim,
To prevent confusion, you might want to update your first post with the correct case because the mobo and case fan are not for MI-008.....
>Alienware X51- do it all HTPC
>Simplify XBMC configurations
>HOW-TO Bitstreaming using XBMC
I refused to watch movie without bitstreaming HD audio!
