Mine shows video info(directors, playcount, etc) and shows up as the black color I choose for area color.
Theme/Colours both set to lite_floor.

fixed, needs clicking on white in colorchooser again. the label will appear in dark blue then. i recommend to use either white or a dark color.

Another observation...

The highlight on the context menu is very hard to see. If it got the highlight that the settings menus receive, it would be easier to see. As of now, I can only tell what position i'm in by watching very closely.

Also - the changes you've made thus far; are these applied with a git pull, or do we have to re-download the .xbt file?

re-downloading the xbt shouldn´t be needed that often. i can mention it here when i update it.
..and i know about context menu. bit harder to fix since that dialog is a bit different coding-wise. will come.

btw if i broke any color stuff in normal layout you can mention that, too. (which is likely because i exchanged thousands of color tags so that they are "flexible"

Thought you might like to see a screen of your fine work. I found a great background that fits with this theme perfectly.




Looks really good so far. The top bar is still a little hard to see, as is the white text in the widget. If you're interested in that background I got it here. It's larger than 1920x1080, and it scales nicely.

Set color for the Home screen? When I pick white - or default, it just remains white.
