I've been using XBMC for a while now and been going through my media library slowly ensuring that metadata is correct.
I have a centralised database set up on a 24/7 server which is working well apart from one thing
whenever i add new movies to the existing centralised database the rating is taken from themoviedb and not imdb
after having had a look around it the forums the consensus is you need to change the setting on the source specific set content screen, however I'm not sure where this is when my sources are not listed in the XBMC gui and are instead specified in my advancedsettings.xml and automatically appear under movies/tv shows
using xbmc nightly build
