I'm having problems with the Favourites Custom Menus using any of the skins that have the possibility to add one (Night, Quartz, AEON MQ3...). They appear empty when you access them:

it seems to be a core software bug though, because it fails with all skins I've tried.

I'm running W7 Ultimate new installation, XBMC Eden 11.0 new installation. I have succesfully installed the favourites script (script.favourites-3.2.1) through the addons menu (because it doesn't install by default, bad), I have succesfully marked some folders as Favourites, then added the custom menus, and when trying to access them, they are empty. But when accessing them through the default Videos folder they are OK.

Have you tried copying the script.favourites folder to Program Files\XBMC\Addons

that is how I have mine setup and the favourites seem to work.

So you should have it located in two places

\Users\<User Name>\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\Addons

&

\Program Files\XBMC\Addons

Yes, I have tried it, I have it now in both folders and I get the same empty screen. My favourites.xml file looks like this:

Finally I've solved it. It was a bit tricky, you need to Set a folder as Favourite, then go to edit favourites.xml removing the quotes and finally go to the Custom Menu options to assign the Favourite to the Menu. The solution was in this thread: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=115655

Awesome! I was having the same problem. Can't believe this bug (and the workaround) isn't posted somewhere that is immediately visible to anyone trying to use the favorites feature.
