AppleTV 1 (silver) How to add unoffical repositories

Hi I need help adding repositories on xbmc, I have 3.0.2 apple tv 1 st gen with edden xbmc.
I am using cyber duck SFTP.
Where do I upload the files, forums and videos posted are saying to add on private/var/mobile, but I do not have that location.
