Linux XBMC Crashes/Stalls out on audio playback
#1
Hey Gang. I'm having some issues with getting XBMC to play the music that I have. It doesn't matter if I'm trying to play an audio cd, mp3 disc, or even a copy of my music library that's living on the machine. If I put in a standard audio cd, it stalls out, if i play something from the library, it crashes. I don't really know what to do, I'd hate to screw with the setting before knowing what the issue actually is. I have not as of yet changed any of the sound setting. oh and before I forget audio playback is fine when watching movies (DVDs, File backups, and video library on an external drive). Any initial thoughts as to what may be wrong and what I can do to fix this problem? Has anyone actually had this issue before??

I am running XMBCbuntu on 3.2Ghz P4 system with 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, CD/DVD Burner.
