Interesting article in the NY Times suggesting that the industry really has no interest in stopping piracy and goes a step further suggesting 3D printers will eventually change the way people perceive copywrite. I'm not trying to start a troll message, or suggest that XBMC users are pirates, but just to point out the obvious has now reached common ears. Content owners are still running into brick walls created by legal entanglement that effects HT hardware owners, as has been the case in the recent Kaleidescape decision.

Interesting read. Though I wouldn't have minded if they'd addressed the complete ineffectiveness of DRM at preventing piracy.

And of course, he might be right...
I mean, there are dozens of people who pay for usenet or whatever in order to get new "stuff".

HBO is IMHO the perfect example for not seeing a HUGE market...

Also I agree with Nate...would be interesting to read abot ineffectivness of DRM.
