Moved XBMC and now it won't run

I just downloaded and installed it on OS X. Tried it out and loved it.
Then I moved it to a hidden folder (cause I like to hide stuff, sue me) that has a name that starts with a period.
Then it wouldn't run. On every launch I get a message about Restoring Windows and no matter which choice I make I get an error about "XBMC Quit Unexpectedly".

Note that this happens if I move the App back to the original location, OR even after I delete it, delete ~/Library/Application Support/XBMC and reinstall the app at ~/Applications.

If I run the app from the DMG file it works.

This crash is fixed in the current nightlies and latest alpha builds. Not sure why deleting everything doesn't get you back runnning though.
