After almost a decade of faithful service, I have retired my XBOX running XBMC.. It was hard to give it up, but I had to bow to the realities of today's technology.
I have since built a Home Theater PC for the express purpose of running XBMC 11 EDEN. Win7 HP x64 2.5ghz Quad Core CPU 4G DDR3 RAM and a 7 TB Hard Drive setup.
But I can't shake wanting to use the old XBOX 1 controller...
I put together a cable that allows me to have the XBOX1 controller recognized. Driver is installed and everything is working in Windows. The setup utility shows all the key presses are functional and working..
But XBMC doesn't see the controller. I get no functionality...
On the one hand, I can see where XBMC wouldn't recognize the XBOX 1 controller, since XBMC has far surpassed anything the XBOX could handle.
On the other hand, in it's current state, the XBOX 1 controller is just another Windows/PC device..
Is there any setting within XBMC I can set to make XBMC recognize the XBOX 1 Controller??
Thanx....
