Hi all, i did some googling/thread searching but wasn't able to find an answer to my problem, so here i am. I've got XBMC running on several computers, and two of them are exhibiting this problem:

Whenever i try to start a plugin (it's almost any plugin, but in this example i'll use Advanced Launcher and the Amazon Video plugins), i get a popup that says "loading directory", but the plugin will never load. I can cancel out of the load, and get back to the menus and play videos/tvshows/movies/music normally, but any video or program plugin refuses to load. Even weirder is that one in ten times or so rebooting the machine, it works fine. Here's a post of the complete xbmc.log (all i did in this particular log was load xbmc, try to load advanced launcher, it doesn't so i cancel, then repeat the process with amazon):

http://pastebin.com/Kcrur325

It looks like the relevant line(s) are:

Code:
18:54:45 T:2696   ERROR: XFILE::CDirectory::GetDirectory - Error getting plugin://plugin.program.advanced.launcher
18:54:45 T:2696   ERROR: CGUIMediaWindow::GetDirectory(plugin://plugin.program.advanced.launcher) failed

Machine stats:

HTPC A - Win7, 8 gigs RAM, core i5 2500k, Frodo Alpha 3, Aeon Nox 3.5
HTPC B - Win7, 4 gigs RAM, Centrino Duo, Frodo Alpha 2, ReFocus BIG

Note that i originally thought it could be a skin problem, but it seems to happen with Confluence as well. I also tried rolling back the plugins through several previous versions, and even reinstalling XBMC - no dice.

Thoughts, all?

One other thing i just noticed - on both machines, if i let go into "tv shows", come back out to the main menu, and let it sit for a couple minutes, it starts working. And will continue working until i restart xbmc. Weird, huh?
