Hi guys!
I'm thinking about starting some small home automation project at home, control lights etc and I'm wondering in what ways I could incorporate xbmc with this. I know I can control XBMC using http or some newer socket interface, but what I wonder is, can XBMC control other stuff? For instance, can it report to my server that it now starts playing a video file, so that I may dim down the lights etc?
Thanks for any tips!
