Hi all,
First of all, I'm new so excuse me if I ask questions a bit silly, I tried to be as clear as possible. I tried searching for answers on the forum but I did not find what I need.
My problem
When I run most of my movies with XBMC 11.0 Eden I sound that jumps, as if there were micro cut.
My config
I have
- A nettop HD ID11 zotac
- LG TV 55LM760S
- A ONKYO AMP with 5.1 speakers wired in 4mm2 JAMO 6ohm
- Windows 7 32-bit Family
- XBMC 11.0 recovered on the official website (without add on or plugin)
My TV is connected via HDMI to the PC, my amplificator is connected via an optical cable directly from the PC to the amplificator.
In my config windows it is displayed as "optical output". In XBMC audio output is "WASAPI: realtek digital outpout (realtek high definition audio)" audio output selected "digital" (although HDMI also works even if it is not connected HDMI), and DTS-compatible device AC3 enabled.
Tests
When I start a movie via VLC I have no problem with audio lag but its image, which suggests to me that my audio setup and my wiring is correct.
When I start a movie my amplificator goes into DTS mode which suggests to me that the sound is DTS sent to my amp then to speakers. When I test the movie I have DTS HD sound, XBMC shows DTS HD in the information bar of the film but my amp stays in DTS, I do not know if this configuration just once and if it can be related to my problem of micro break?
Questions
- Do you have any idea how to fix my problem of micro break? Installing codec? Advanced Configuration of XBMC? Installing another version of XBMC?
Thank you in advance for your answers

I found a part of solution, I just discovered "audio engine" I hope that my problem will resolve micro break/jump in audio and give me a sound DTS HD...
