Win XBox 360 controller help
#1
Hello, and once again another noob...my english isn't the best, so could you please explain very easily Wink

I want to control XBMC on WIN7 x64 with the Xbox 360 Wireless Controller. I read some posts here, but i don't got it to control at XBMC.
I tried to copy the joystick.Microsoft.Xbox.360.Controller.xml from C:\Program Files (x86) >XBMC> system> keymaps and pasted the file to C:\>Users>Owner>AppData>Roaming>XBMC>userdata>keymaps.

My controller called in the control panel by "Xbox 360 Wireless Controller"

In the joystick.Microsoft.Xbox.360.Controller.xml
<keymap>
<global>
<joystick name="Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver">

And then what and where must I exactly rename, both files or one? That's are the only things I must change?

Thanks

Then you should know the answers to your questions. Open the xbmc.log, search for your joystick and replace all <joystick name="Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver"> in joystick.Microsoft.Xbox.360.Controller.xml with the name from the logfile.
