Hi, i really love aeon now, but still trying to get out, how to change two things annoying me.
Maybe there are some guys out there who can help me.
First thing is the lowlistview in music. i can see the albumcover and the track list in the middle, but there is also a commentar on the right side, which shows nothing or ITUNSNORM. How can i disable the commentar?
Furthermore i would like to change the size of the music fullscreen view ( i mean the size of the album cover with cdart and the text ) because it takes nearly 1/3 of the whole screen. a good example is the view in the night skin. There the album cover is much smaller.
I hope there is a xml where i can easily change the position and size.
Thx for ur help!

Hi Phil,
1. can u explain me what a git version is? Didnt find any explaination for me. in my version of nox i couldnt find any entry to toggle the comment off. 2. thats the thing i thought about. i already tried to compare the musicvisualisation.xml form the night skin with the nox skin, but there the problems began. I could only find a folder with the confluence skin, but nothing else. Thought there would be a folder fpr nox, night, confluence and the other one i installed. in the .xlm are a number of settings to change, but im not sure which to choose. maybe u ve got a hint for me thx |

thank u for the tip with the git version. Indeed u can easily toggle off the comment box, but why is this only possible in the git version?
I prefer the normal version because it seems to be faster. So no chance to toggle it off? Can it be that u cant go back to the normal nox version after installing or better after copying the files to the addon folder? even if i rename the folder of the git version and copy the old folder back i still have the git version running. Thats quite strange. I Think i have to delete and reinstall aeon nox. |

The stable version (Aeon Nox 3.5) is called "stable" because it is... well... stable! It's done, it's fixed, it will not be changed. Aeon Nox as a whole is a continuous work in progress (WIP), and as this happens (version 3.5, 3.6, and so on) things change, some get better, others get worse (depends on who you ask). The GIT version is a direct view of this WIP, you have the very latest updates/changes made by the developers.
Don't know about the "faster" issue, I find GIT version to be just as fast as 3.5. To be sure which version you have, open addon.xml located inside the skin.aeon.nox folder. It's not necessary to delete GIT to get stable back. |

3.6 should, if at all, be faster than 3.5 (less code and LOT of texture improvements. skin size is now more than 20 mb less which is enormous)
only thing i can imagine is uncompressed texures vs xbt file. (2012-08-21 18:17)CutSickAss Wrote: others get worse (depends on who you ask)probably only you when askin about backgrounds
