I own a Logitech Revue, but I'd rather customize a PC to handle my media. I'm looking for a media center package like XBMC that offers my cable/DVR output via the same interface that hosts music, photos, and videos. I'm trying to get the same functionality that Google TV has, where one selection displays the cable HDMI output, and the other photo/music/video options are onscreen. Just want to avoid having to use a third or fourth remote just to flip inputs - I'd be happy with a cable DVR universal remote and a XBMC MCE remote.

I don't want XBMC to do anything other than 'dumb' forwarding HDMI signals via the interface - no tuning, no cable cards, no recording, no saving. Flow would be coax->DVR->HDMI->PC->HDMI out->TV.

Is this do-able in XBMC (with the right cards) as in Google TV? Otherwise, if it needs to be a separate Windows program, that's OK too, I can pin it to the Taskbar.
