Antec EarthWatts Green EA-380D + Silverstone ML03B
#1
My local dealer advised me to switch Seasonic SS-350ES 350W to Antec EarthWatts Green EA-380D because costumers were returning back some
of the Seasonic PSUs.

my question is: does anyone here use this combo?
will it fit into the ML03B case?

Yes, the Antec will fit into the case however it has a rearward facing exhaust fan and the ML03 case has an air vent in the floor immediately below the PSU therefore I recommend either the Silverstone Strider Essential 400 watt or the Be Quiet Pure Power 300 watt psu's which I have used in my ML03 without issue.

Thanks for the input.
Do you know any other brands that would fit with fan on the top?

They are the only psu's I have tried.

Btw the psu fan would be downward facing so that it is aligned with the vent.

Nice setup.
It does not bother you that the PSU fan is not facing outside which means that it throws hot air to your case?

Off memory the only fan is an exhaust fan at the rear of the PSU which blows air straight out the case

Please correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the Antec might be shorter in depth than the Strider. You need all the space you can get since the ODD and PSU butt right up against each other in this case. I just ordered the same case and the Antec PSU for this reason.

What is there not to like, its only a psu........... FWIW both psu's are virtually silent from just inches away. In fact I use the Strider in my current HTPC and the Pure Power I have kept as a spare.

Do you have enough space for Blu-Ray drive?
I don't intend to install Blu-Ray drive right now but would like to enable this option later on.

For sure, the Strider PSU cooling fan will properly line up with ML03B vent.......
