Hello!

Very, very happy to report that with nightly "xbmc-20130205-8c0fae1-master-x86_64"
the "default" audio output option appears again and works as expected in ML 10.8.2. on a Mac Pro 3,1 with stock Radeon 4870 card.

Up and running, finally!
Thanx!

Yes, thanks. It's working. Even though I had to delete my ~/Library/Application Support/XBMC directory, as I had a crash every time I tried to launch the application (in the log there was something about the audio engine couldn't be started).

Again, thanks.

On my system, first starting Eden and setting audio out to anything other than digital out
would prevent that crashing In Frodo. 100% repeatable.
FWIW YMMV
