Didn't read the whole topic, but want to let you know that the VMDirectPath (PCI Passthrough) bug is fixed in the latest release of 21 december.

has anyone had success with this using sandy bridge? if so what is the hardware you are using?

I might give this a try this weekend. trying to decide on windows with workstation or esxi. I might even tr it sooner as I need to update to 12.0
