Hi,
does XBMC support 4K resolution? If doesn't it would be very useful to add it. 4K content is more and more available.
I tried 4 different videos with resolution 4K and it didn't work I had green screen and I heard just a sound.
Here is more information about video:
File : TimeScapes 4K.mp4
File size : 514.75 MBytes (539 753 394 Bytes)
Duration : 00:02:18.000
Overall bitrate : 31.3 Mbps
File format : MPEG-4
Video : 4098x2304 (16:9) @ 4096x2304, Progressive, 23.976 fps, AVC, ~31.1 Mbps, 0.138 bits/pixel
Audio : 44.1 KHz, AAC LC, 2 ch, 152 Kbps
I am using Ivy Bridge i7-3770 which has 4K support with Intel HD4000 and graphic HD7950 with native 4K support. Both play content in Windows Media Player, but not in XBMC.
Regards
