Win HDHomerun Stream Builder (strm)
#16
Ah the 3 tuners isn't actually detected from the HDHR but is my fair for hard coding it. See if the field lets you override with a typed number otherwise, I'll have to change it when I get a chance.

I have only tested with an already activated card so I'd bet the HDHR config app will not respond correctly during a scan if the card is not activated.

Gman: I haven't had a chance to test it but at first glance that link requires registration. Can you throw it on Dropbox instead?

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I have tried running it in Adminstrator mode to get around this, any advice?

Hmm. It looks like the problems are permissions based. I wonder if putting the files into directories the users has access to will help. It is possible I guess that the processes being started do not assume the privileges of the app. I just don't know. Can you guys try moving the TVGuide, xmltv, and hdhr exe's and settings file into the same fit as the app and point the config to them instead? Let's try that and see if it works.

In my posted error log, I did not configure the program with the TVGuide or XMLTV paths, I just left the default. This was because I wasn't planning on using that feature yet. But maybe I have to configure those for the program to successfully complete the run.

I'll give it a whirl again after configure those extra parameters.

Where do you get MC2XML.EXE? I cannot locate/find the file on my system anywhere. Is it a third party app that I need to download?

I configured the TVGuide Addon for the database, and attempted to re-run the script with it again but still the same kinda error.

What version is your HDHomerun Prime software & firmware? I'm not using any of the betas at the moment, only using the most current stable release. This may have something to do with it?

Thanks in advance!

PO'dcamel,

Nice, very very nice.
Works as advertised...both streams and TV guide.
Thank you muchly.

SD is screwin' the pooch by playin' politics with this box.
Elgato didn't seem to have any trouble tunin' this thing a long time ago....even without an intervening computer.
A shame, this thing had such potential.
The 6 tuner box is dead.
Looks to me like the 3 tuner isn't far behind.
A real shame.

What firmware/software version of the silicon dust software do you have installed for you HDHomerun Prime? Also what OS version are you using. I'm still trying to get this work and trouble shoot it, so it would be good to know from someone whom has it working.

Thanks

Ninja: google mc2xml, it is a third party app you must get. I thought the readme stated that but if not I will correct it.

All, you should configure ALL paths in the settings correctly for the app to work correctly.

You need to go into options and fill out the file paths or at least I'm pretty sure that is the problem. But I do not have it in front of me to test.
