not sure if this should go in the PVR section because I get the same issue when i'm just viewing a .strm file from my hdhomerun prime.
basically, the issue is this. if i have dxva2 on, live tv comes in fine. but when dxva2 is on, some of my 720p rips comes in really badly and pixelated. so i've turned it off and 100% of my media works perfectly.
my issue is live tv/.strm files from my cable card. it doesnt matter which frontend i use, or a .strm file, what happens is that live tv seems a little "slow". like, mechnical. what i mean is, the fps doesnt slow down at all (stays at a steady 59/60), but all the movements seem like a half second behind. anybody know what i mean? it just seems off. like it's a little slow. this only happens when dxva2 is off. my question is, is there anyway to switch to dxva2 for pvr/livetv while keeping dxva2 off for everything else? or to fix dxva2. how would i go about doing this?
