Ok So I just bought a new Atom Box to use as my Media Center instead of my current WDTV Live Hub. My question is I've heard of some problems with HDMI and Linux and XBMC. I haven't used Linux in 5-8 years so it will be refreshing to be using it again. Here is the computer spec I was wondering if anyone has a Atom Box and could give some tips on Linux and HDMI or am I better running this on Win 7 which I would rather not do.

It will have 4gigs RAM and a 60gig SSD Drive that came with it for free a OCZ one if I remember right.! Thanks for the help!

You'll want an Nvidia GPU for the best performance on Linux. Not sure if that unit can support it or not.
If I helped out pls give me a + XBMC1: i3-540, 4GB, GT430, 40GB SSD, Ubuntu 10.10 min + Dharma -> HT: 58" plasma, Denon 3808CI, Paradigm Studio 60, CC-590, ADP-470, Seismic 12 XBMC2: Atom330, 4GB, GT240, 64GB SSD, Ubuntu 12.04 min + Frodo B1 -> Main: 50" plasma, Rotel RX-1052, B&W 683 Server: 20TB FreeBSD + ZFS solution
