iTunes Integration Problems :(

I need help! i know about iTunes not working too well in XBMC 11. but can developers create an update fixing these bugs? or at least an ADD-ON?

Bug 1:

Let's say i purchased a movie off iTunes and it has chapter markers. in XBMC it will play normally but it will play the video and sound from only the frames of the chapter markers. sometimes the sound in my speakers will make a "pop" or a "crack" noise in the chapter markers.

Bug 2:

Let's say i purchased a TV episode off iTunes. it may have chapter markers... or not... but whatever it has it doesn't show any error it's just a blank player screen then goes back to the TV menu.

Now i do not know how the problem might be solved. but i have a suggestion, look at the source code for Apple's Quicktime player or look at the code for it's decoding. maybe try that out for XBMC see what happens.

those are encrypted with iTunes DRM, to play them in XBMC, remove the DRM

how do you remove DRM? do you remove it from the Video? or is there a preference file to modify IN xbmc?

I don't want to create a whole separate file. because i don't want to waste too much hard drive space. can there be more bug fixes for viewing DRM protected videos? Guess i'll wait.

To clear things up: These problems aren´t bugs.
It´s Apples fault.

Perhaps you should look for your media somewhere else.

Well i guess i could Airplay the video a a stream right?

Nope, encrypted with DRM even in stream. Here is what you do.
Remove DRM (creates new file with all the same information minus DRM).
Give new file same name.
Delete original.
Move new file to same location as original.

iTunes will still read it just fine, and xbmc will be able to as well

can you name an app that can do that? if any are they free?

You are walking on a very thin ice (figuratively speaking). Try and "ask" google for something like: "handbrake drm itunes" (should be the first result and is a guide). Otherwise I think you will find tons of free software to create a DRM-free file.
