Linux Looking for the best available low profile video card? video quality is top of list!

I built an ION based HTPC that runs OpenELEC and I just am not 100% happy with it at all, so I'm stepping back up to a full featured HTPC.

Here is the list I have currently,

A few things might change as I have likely at least 2 months before I start purchasing the actual computer hardware and it will depend on cost and what new hardware may come out in that time and so on.

The thing I'm not sure about most though is the GPU, most important to me are smooth playback and video quality. Also I need it to support bitstreaming of the HD audio codecs (DTS-HD TrueHD). So I'm looking for a card that performs best at video playback, smooth and has great de-interlacing and so on. I have a GT520 I could use already (which is apparently the same as the GT610) but would having twice as many cores would help with video quality? So looking for advice. I think ATI cards likely handle video a bit better, but in linux they don't do the HD audio bitstreaming.

I would say the geforce 640 since it supports the new VP5 enginge and has enough cuda cores for the advanced interlacing at 1080i

"at this point it’s certainly the best HTPC card we’ve tested yet."
