I have recently made an ISO of a blu-ray film. The film starts off in French, and then after a couple of minutes changes to English as the storyline moves from Paris to London. The problem is that on the ISO, the subtitles either don't show up at all, or show up for the whole film rather than just during the bit in french which is what is desired. Any ideas how to sort this problem?

That's usually refered to as a forced subtitle. Are you sure the movie even have a forced subtitle track?

You could also search for a forced subtitle file for that film or a full one and edit out the part you don't want.
