I'm getting a green screen when hardware acceleration is turned on. I can turn it off and the videos play, but sometimes with a lot of dropped frames.
I searched for other solutions in the forum and about the only thing I'm seeing is people saying to turn off hardware acceleration.

Happened once to me, but i had Nvidia card. Was hard to fix since i did the same an googled for days. I don't know if it will work on an ATI but u cold give it a try.
What finally fixed that issue for me, without turning acceleration off, was going to Nvidia control panel (CCC in ur case), and in video settings, changing the option Manage video from Nvidia card to Manage video from the application or program.
