We are at VERY early stage, and we are just starting to learn how to code.

It looks like a very nice, smooth concept. Generally I don't like white skins as that much white sears my eyeballs on the big screen. Once you've finished the project hopefully yourself or someone else might make a 21:20 Black (or grey) theme.
