I have an iPad 1st Gen. Before it was running 4.3.3 tethered jailbreak and was running XBMC, but wanted to get rid of the tethered so upgraded to 5.1.1 and jailbreak with Absinthe, now the repo fails to fetch the data.

I read about all the possible solutions and none seems to work. I have tried to check misspelling of the repo, and also tried on an iPhone 4 and worked but for some reason refuses to work in this iPad, very frustrating. I know the problem might seem simple but also opted for a clean install and re jailbreak and nothing again is like if this iPad refused to download the packages.
I Googled how to fix the Sub-process /bin/bzip2 error code (2) but the problem persisted.
Please help.
I am open to any suggestions like trying to force install from terminal if possible.
