Linux A quick tutorial write up for Open Media Vault and shared XBMC databases
#1
This is a quick and dirty tutorial write up to allow the average user configure OMV with MySQL for the shared database. In actuallity, it's meant for the user who doesn't know anything about MySQL. Some of you all please test this out and hopefully it does well for you. took me a while to figure it out since it won't work unless you do the two tweeks mentioned in the "how to" wiki
http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=HOW...g_up_MySQL

My crap tutorial is located here: http://bootlegninja.awardspace.com/xbmc-server/omvsql/

please let me know the good, bad, or ugly about it.

Any link to a more up-to-date tutorial ? The OMV MySQL plug-in doesn't look like that anymore...:/

Edit : my bad, you now have to go in the User Manager option in MyWebSQL....
