Same problem.
Decoding DD + was OK with Eden but no longer works with Frodo!
Why this regression?
Is this intentional?
or a technical problem?

You've obviously missed the part about there being an entirely new audio system in place for Frodo coded from scratch, so yes there are some regressions at this time due to the immaturity of the new audio system.

I had read that there were new on the management of audio. Mainly support HD audio. But the single user that I am do not think these can generate as many problems.
But I understand better now. Thank you for the explanation.
