Hey, just wondering if there is a way to revert back to an pervious build of xbmc frodo. I've been using nightlies for a while but the latest one (alpha5) crashes way too often for me to stand. If I could go way back to alpha2 that would be perfect.

just replace xbmc.bin to an earlier version

I've tried looking for an earlier version of xbmc.bin but I can't find any versions for linux, it's all windows, ios, or osx.

there is where the previously downloaded versions of XBMC are located.
use this command to revert:

sudo dpkg -i [Package Name]

rollback in this order:
1. XBMC-bin
2. XBMC

Thanks, I checked there but It looks like there's only the latest version there..

You could possibly use aptitude to roll back to a previous version, but there could be some breakage involved. Otherwise, you could uninstall the current versions of everything, then reinstall the wanted version, if you know the exact package names.
