using the frodo nightly from the 4th, and playing music (flac and mp3) and i no longer get song thumbnails in the now playing view, except if i queue a song directly. if i use party mode, or queue an album or artist, then i don't get a now playing thumbnail for that track (or set of tracks). if i queue a song at a time, it will show the thumb for that song.

here's a debug log. not sure if this is expected, and therefore expected to be resolved. i have noticed a difference in how the system seems to handle the music thumbs in general, reading them right out of each file instead of the first file for an album... i believe i asked for this a couple of years ago so a big thanks.

anyway, any thoughts? am i doing something wrong?

Yeah! Have this issue since two month and till now it's not fixed.

looks like the problem is still in the aplha5 just released.

Really irritating. Sometimes I lose all the thumbs in wall mode.
