RandomItems & Watchlist script error CONSTANTLY
#1
These scripts fail constantly... upon XBMC start, while navigating any menu, even watching a video!

here's a debug log snippet of one occurrence for each...

I'm using Alpha 5, but it was happening with at least 10 different builds I tried before that. In both the dev threads they have told others with similar issues the problem is the skin, NOX.

Anyone know how to fix this? Deleting the script folder does not help, it just comes back when NOX updates.

I'm not an expert but I play one at work.

Try searching the relevant threads. There are fixes out there.

I did find them... and finding the working versions is not easy... they are buried in huge threads, no one has properly updated the first post for the threads they are in.

NOX requires them to work properly, thus NOX should include the working versions OR at least have a notice with direct links to the proper scripts.

Nox skinners have stated over and over, and clearly in the initial posts of their release threads that they only support Eden.

i had tried xbmc nightly with this new addons. The warning-messages are no longer displayed but they don't work in real time.
i see newest items,if i restart xbmc.

do we need to wait for new fixes? is it only me with this problem?
